Shipping policy
- Standard Shipping is a fast economy shipping method with an estimated delivery time of 2 to 3 weeks. This shipping method has a 1kg limit. That means if your order is over 2kg, we will pack them into multiple 1kg boxes. We will send all boxes at the same time but there is a chance that you receive them on separate days. Tracking service is included in this shipping method.
Please note that delivery times are estimates and do not account for processing time, which typically takes 30 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight of your order, the shipping method selected, and the destination. You can view the shipping charges for your order at checkout before finalizing your purchase.
Customs Duties & VAT
International orders may be subject to customs duties, VAT, or import taxes depending on your country’s regulations.
These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are not included in the product or shipping price.
Customers are responsible for paying any applicable customs fees or taxes upon delivery. Shipping carriers such as DHL, EMS (Japan Post), or FedEx may contact you directly to complete customs clearance.
We recommend checking your country’s import regulations before placing an order, as customs policies vary by location.
Order Processing
We will ship your order as soon as possible! If products you ordered are in stock, it will take us 3 to 5 business days to ship them. If your ordered product is out of stock, we will email you as soon as possible to let you know how long it will take us to ship your order.
After your order has been received, every item will undergo strict quality control in order to ensure the product’s quality. Please note that different items are subject to different processing times. Generally, the average processing time is 1-3 business days (approximately); however, this depends on the stock availability.
UNAVAILABLE PRODUCTS
We continuously monitor the market for any updates and product availability. In case a product is ordered that we are not able to provide (for reasons such as discontinuity by manufacturer, temporarily not available in the market, etc.), we will contact you and suggest a similar product for you to replace. If you choose not to replace the product with an available one, we will provide you with a coupon code equal to the total amount you had paid for unavailable product(s). You will be able to use the coupon code in single or multiple orders until the amount is fully used. The coupon will be valid until 31 March of the following year.
Shipping Confirmation and Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this tracking number to check the status of your shipment on the carrier’s website.
Shipping Restrictions
We currently ship worldwide. We do not ship to P.O. boxes or military APO/FPO addresses.
Lost or Damaged Packages
Sakuras Shop is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages. If your package is lost or damaged in transit, please contact the shipping carrier to file a claim. We will assist you to the best of our ability to resolve any issues.
Incorrect Address
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the shipping address provided is correct. We are not responsible for orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If you realize that you have provided an incorrect address, please contact us immediately at customer service email/phone number.
DELIVERY FAILURE
If a parcel is returned to our office in Japan due to a customer-related issue(e.g. an incorrect address), we will resend the parcel to the correct address, but the client needs to pay for a full shipping fee even if an order was eligible for free shipping. The client will be contacted as soon as the parcel is received.
